Is it true that the church has created two calendars featuring Mormons in provocative positions? I thought the church teaches that the body is sacred and that it should not be exploited in this way.

Hi friend. It is true that there are two calendars featuring Mormons. One features returned missionaries, and another features Mormon mothers. These calendars are not produced by the Church, and most Mormons find them highly offensive. They are produced by a former member of the church who lives in Las Vegas (a.k.a. Sin City).

This former member pretends that he is doing latter-day saints a favor by "dispelling common myths about Mormons." You are right, though, that Mormons believe the body is sacred and should not be displayed in a provocative calendar. This former member pretends that he is doing us a favor, but in reality he is doing us a great disservice.
