Do Mormons believe in the theory of evolution, or do they believe in Adam and Eve?

The Church does not have an official position with regards to the theory of biological evolution. Some Mormons reject evolution. Others believe in evolution. The Bible says that man was formed from the dust of the earth. This concept may refer to the process of evolution, whereby the elements of the earth were organized first into biomolecules, then into cells, and finally into more complex life forms.

Richard from Orem:
Adam and eve were the first human people on the earth and the father and mother of the entire human race.Later-day prophets have stated that when we read they were made from the dust of the earth, this is given to mean not literal dust, but that they were formed from particles of this earth and created from them.
As stated by others we don't know, nor are given any information as per the details of the creation of Adam and Eve.
Evolution I believe is accepted in the LDS comunity as evolution to a degree is still occuring, and it would be foolishness to disreguard it.
So quick answer to your question, we believe in both.
