Living the principles of the gospel has brought peace and contentment to my life. I did not grow up in the LDS church and joined when I was 24, but was very active in the Episcopal Church as a youth. I have always known the Lord and tried to do what is right. Learning about the restoration has given me a greater appreciation for his work and allowed me to participate in ordinances that I would not have been able to do without that knowledge. I do enjoy the peace that temple attendance brings and the conviction that I am doing for others what they cannot do for themselves. I have been blessed with a wonderful wife and children and now we have 3 grandchildren. It hasn't always been easy but nothing worthwhile is ever easy.
