The Lord has set Guidelines to Live By

How has my church life helped me to avoid such things as pornography and immorality? Mostly by teaching correct principles I suppose. When you are taught correct things and you live by those teachings, it is easy to see the pitfalls involved in not living those things contrary to those principles. At first you may just obey because you are told to do so, but as you gain life experience, and see others make bad decisions, it becomes clear that the teachings of the church are there to make us happy, to help us avoid the captivity that those kinds of sins become. I am so grateful that there are still people out that there that realize that the Lord has set guidelines to live by and they do! It's refreshing in a world like the world we live in today.
