I'm not Mormon, but I've been visiting a Mormon church to improve my English, and I like their dedication. My understanding is that your religion focuses on loving not only God but also your fellow men and women. That's what I like so much about your church, since love is sacred. My only problem is that, because of my work, I only have one Sunday free a week. I mean to say that I couldn't participate in the meetings every Sunday. Is there a possible solution for this problem? Thanks for your help.

Hi Ioan. I'm very happy that you're interested in the Church! I've been a Mormon for many years, and I've seen a lot of people join the Church. For those who are persistent and dedicated, it brings tremendous spiritual peace and stability. I have seen Christ's restored gospel transform many lives, including my own. I know it can do the same for you!

You should talk with the missionaries about your interest in the Church. Participating in the Mormon community is a very important part of our worship. I suggest that you attend church the one Sunday you have free every month. When your job allows, try to attend even more frequently. There may also be activities during the week that would benefit you given your challenging schedule. I'm sure that speaking with the missionaries and perhaps the bishop of your local congregation will be very helpful. Good luck!

There's a far better way to learn about Mormons! If you have questions, consider inviting Mormons that live in your area to visit with you in your home!

In addition, in many areas there are services that start at different times. Check out the local congregations (wards and branches) in your area- perhaps if you cannot attend your own ward every Sunday you may be able to attend another. For example, in one place I lived there were three wards and a branch that all met in the same building, so services started at 9am, 11am, 1pm and 3pm. Another building near me had services at 9am, 12pm, 3pm and 6pm.

Where I currently live is about a 2 1/2 drive each way from the 5 closest church buildings. I go when I can, but when I can't, I watch the sacrament service on byutv.org and read the lessons for Sunday school and relief society on my own. Perhaps this is also an option for you.

As long as you are sincerely trying to do your best to get to church and to try to make up the difference when you can't, the Lord will bless you.
