Mormon Beliefs

The task of cataloging basic LDS beliefs is daunting. To simplify, I've used as a template the old LDS missionary discussions, paraphrasing and expounding on the topics therein outlined, reordering some of the sections, and adding a few sections of personal interest. Rather than including biblical support for LDS beliefs directly in the text below, I've included scripture-study lists that can be accessed by clicking on the various "(Scriptures)" links. Please note that:
  • This document is not intended to be a complete list of all LDS doctrines, but rather a list of the doctrines I personally consider most important. For more in-depth information, please visit www.lds.org.
  • While I've tried my best to describe LDS doctrines as I understand them, I am no official Church spokesman.
    • For official explanations of Church doctrine, visit www.mormons.org.
