Hello. I’m 19 years old, and I broke the law of Chastity. I repented, but then I fell again with the same girl. She’s a member of the church. If it weren’t for this sin, things would be great.

I don’t know what to do now. I hope I’m given another chance to repent. I don’t know which would be better, though. Should I marry her? I don’t want to sin again.

Hi brother. It's excellent that you spoke with your Bishop about this sin in the past. You repented once by applying Christ's atonement in your life. You need to do that again. It's also excellent that you want to avoid sinning in the future.

It would be a big mistake to marry someone just because you don't want to sin. Consider questions like spiritual, emotional, intellectual, and lifestyle compatibility. Let love influence your decision to marry. Never make that decision hastily.

Perhaps you want to marry your girlfriend because you are compatible and you do love each other. If that's true, then congratulations! Otherwise, perhaps it's best if the two of you spend less time together.

I hope this answer helps. Chat with your Bishop, too, if you need advice or spiritual strengthening. All the best.
