For members of the church, Jesus Christ is the divine Son of God, our Savior and Redeemer through whom salvation is made possible. (Reflections of Christ)
Hi friend. Thanks for your interesting question. There's obviously a lot to say about this topic! I encourage you to search this site as well as mormon.org for further details. Let me just give you some of the highlights.

1) Yes, Mormons believe Jesus Christ is God the Son. We see Him as the Savior, the Messiah, the Lord, etc. As a Christian religion, the divinity of Christ is central to our theology. Here's a quote from a fairly recent official church proclamation:

"We bear testimony, as His duly ordained Apostles, that Jesus is the Living Christ, the immortal Son of God. He is the great King Immanuel, who stands today on the right hand of His Father. He is the light, the life, and the hope of the world. His way is the path that leads to happiness in this life and eternal life in the world to come. God be thanked for the matchless gift of His divine Son."

2) Like other Christians, we also believe in God the Father and the Holy Ghost. Our view of the Trinity is very similar to the concept of "social Trinity" described by the Catholic theologian Karl Rahner or the Protestant theologian Jürgen Moltmann. In that sense, there are certain aspects of the Nicene Creed's description of "Trinity" that we're not entirely comfortable with. But really these are small details. Mormons are fundamentally Trinitarian, like other Christians.

Basically, Mormons believe that God the Father, God the Son, and the Holy Ghost are physically distinct with distinct personal identities. But we believe that They function in perfect unity of purpose as one "monotheistic unit," the Godhead, the Trinity, or, most often, simply "God."

I hope this makes sense. Perhaps more detail than you were looking for! Let me know if you'd like me to clarify anything. Our missionaries would also be happy to discuss this topic with you, if you're interested. Thanks again.

Obtain a copy of our church hymn book. The songs we sing is what we believe. It is all about the Gospel of Jesus Christ our belief in him and our Heavenly father. Go to the Topical index which lists hymns gospel subjects like (prayer, Sabbath, day, obedience, missionary, work, faith, baptism, Christmas, etc... Most especially, take note of the words of Sacrament hymns that we sing just prior to administering Sacrament emblems of the bread and water to the congregation members.

Also Our world famous Tabernacle Choir has many albums available. Their voices are accompanied by the Holy Spirit which brings peace, comfort to the soul. To both the listeners' and singers... The Lord said, (D&C 25:12 "For My soul delighteth in the song of the heart; yea the song of the righteous is a prayer unto me, it shall be answered with a blessing upon their heads"
