Hi friend. There's no need to wonder what the Word of Wisdom means when it comes to "hot drinks." The church's teaching on the matter is very clear, thanks to modern-day prophets and apostles who have clarified the original revelation. Caffeine is not prohibited, nor do "hot drinks" include things like hot chocolate. Mormons should avoid coffee, alcohol, and non-herbal teas.
