Is someone gets divorced because one of the spouses committed adultery, why can’t the other have sex with a new person without getting married / sealed?

As I'm sure you know, the challenges we face in our lives don't give us license to violate God's commandments. God expects us to follow Him in our most difficult times, as well as when our life is going well.
God has taught that sexual intimacy should only take place within the confines of a marriage. This same standard applies to all members of the church, whether they are divorced or not. It can be difficult sometimes to follow God. But obeying His commandments is precisely the way to find lasting happiness.
