I’m a member of the church, but I’m currently inactive. I recent started dating a boy who isn’t a member of the church. I want to come back to the church, but my boyfriend isn’t interested in the church. But he does support me in my desire to return to the church.

I don’t know what to do. I want to marry him and start a family. But he doesn’t even want to learn about my faith.

Temples are considered houses of God, places of holiness and peace separate from the preoccupations of the world.
Hi sister. What a challenging question. I'd suggest that you first worry about your own spiritual progress. There is little chance your boyfriend will become interested in the church if you yourself are not regularly attending. Why don't you chat with your bishop about coming back to the church? He'll be happy to help you.

Once you've returned, you'll be better able to help your boyfriend. Perhaps he'll become interested in the church once he sees the positive impact it had on your life.

If not, you'll have to carefully consider the next best step. As you well know, only people who are properly prepared (preparation that includes baptism) can worship in the temple. Temple marriage is one of the highest forms of temple worship.

I hope this answer helps. All the best.
