Good afternoon. I have a question. I’ve been invited to the wedding of a Christian couple, but looking at their website I see that they are Mormons. With all due respect (sincerely), are Mormons Christian?

Hi Pilar. Thanks for your question. Mormons belong to a Christian church formally called the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. It's a denomination of Christianity. So, for example, Catholics, Baptists, Episcopalians, Methodists, and Calvinists are all denominations of Christianity because they believe Christ is the Divine Son of God through whom salvation is made possible. Mormons believe the same, so they are also a kind of Christian.
