Hi friend. My own research suggests that the church does not have a policy specifically prohibiting marriages between cousins. However, the church does encourage its members to be good citizens of the countries where they live, and in many countries it is illegal for cousins to marry. Members who willfully choose to violate the law need to pass through a process of repentance that includes abandoning the sin.

I'm not familiar with the laws in the place where you live, but you may want to investigate them further. To my knowledge, if two cousins are legally married, there is nothing that prohibits them from joining our church. Best of luck to you.
